:CCOR extend production facilities
Installation of a new tempering oven
A new tempering oven was installed in the recently commissioned :CCOR production hall at the beginning of May. The 17.5 metre long and 34 ton industrial oven was delivered in one unit, and was placed with two mobile lifting cranes in a highly-demanding lifting manoeuvre in a very constrained area, on the predetermined position. Following a very professional and skilful cooperation between the crane driver and HGV driver, the operation was completed after almost eight hours. The tailor-made oven, which is designed for the application-specific requirements for filament winding components, enables rotational tempering of components with diameters of over one metre and lengths of up to 13 metres.
